Good to know

TAC Verlag GmbH is a small company with four employees, all of whom also have other jobs and therefore mostly work part-time for the publishing house. We do not see ourselves as a classic online retailer and do not want to and cannot compare ourselves with their speed.

  • We usually ship every weekday with DHL, but at least three times a week. This means that, within Germany, it can take an average of two working days - in the most unfavorable cases five working days - from receipt of payment until you receive your order.
  • We will send you an email with the shipping details and tracking ID on the day of collection by DHL, sometimes the day before
  • Transfers take one to two working days within Germany. Please allow for this time and bear in mind that the banks' computers do not work at weekends. Real-time transfers reach us immediately at any time. If you pay via PayPal, your order is also considered paid immediately.
  • It doesn't help if you give us drop-off requests (such as: "Please drop off at the neighbor's") in the order. You must notify DHL directly of a drop-off authorization. You can also direct your parcel there after receiving the tracking ID.     
  • We do not offer a gift wrapping service and do not ship via express or any other delivery service than DHL.


  • Remember that the drivers of all parcel services, especially before Christmas, are under considerable time and performance pressure (with very low pay).
  • Please also check whether a retailer near you carries TAC. To do this, use the dealer search listed in the top menu.
  • Carefully fill in the delivery address! The recipient's name must be visible on the letterbox or doorbell. If the address is incorrect or incomplete, you will be liable for the return shipping costs!
  • Check the spam/junk folder of your e-mail account! You will receive an e-mail immediately after placing your order and another one on the day of dispatch. If you are a new customer, you will first receive confirmation that your account has been created. If you have not received any of these emails (e.g. because they have been classified as spam or you have a typing error in your email address), we have no other way of contacting you. In this case, please contact us by phone or contact form (stating your telephone number).     
  • Use the options that DHL offers you in connection with the tracking ID (parcel number) that you receive from us with the shipping email. S.h. here
  • If you have not received a delivery within three to four working days of receiving our shipping email, please contact us.
  • Always keep an eye on the progress of your parcel online. It may happen that the driver, if he has not found you (or was in a hurry), has left the package directly at a DHL branch or with a neighbor near you.
  • If there is a problem somewhere or you want to talk to us for other reasons, write us a short message. We usually get back to you very quickly by email or phone.

Team play and fairness

We would like us to see each other for who we are - as people and as players. When you communicate with us, it is us who are talking to you and not hotline staff from a service center, bots or machines. We are your fellow players and not ambitious merchants. Your and our well-being and fun are our priority and this is only possible without the usual pressure, business-like harsh tone and delivery times that can only be surpassed by teleportation.
