You should have played a 6-player TAC before buying!2
A 6-player TAC is not a substitute for a TAC for four players – it is only useful for exactly six players!2
There is no game box or special bag for the 6-player TAC!
A 6-player TAC is very large and heavy! We deliver it in a specially made shipping box. The shipping costs are correspondingly high and the game cannot be shipped together with other products in one box. Please also note that you will have to bear the costs for the return shipment in the event of a revocation. These can amount to up to 40 euros within Germany!
The 6-player TAC is sold exclusively by us directly to end customers and not via specialist retailers.
2 A 6-player TAC does not replace the classic TAC for four players. The rules are basically the same, but designed for two teams of two players. On a 6-player TAC board, the distances are not right for a game with four players. When playing with six players (three teams of two or two teams of three), the higher player density and the changed distances on the board create a completely different gameplay – more chaotic and significantly less predictable and controllable. A game therefore also takes significantly longer longer. If you often play with more than four players, it makes sense to consider whether an additional TAC for four players would be more practical and cheaper than a 6-player TAC.
1 The wood of the red beech is one of the hard, slightly reddish woods and comes from Central and Southeastern Europe. The steamed beech wood we use is slightly redder and less prone to cracking and splitting than unsteamed beech. Unlike TAC Premium and 'Das kleine TAC', the 6er TAC and the TAC deluxe are made of solid wood, with the ornamentation not being printed on but milled into the wood. It should be mentioned that the milled ornament can never be perfect! Some angles and curves and the course of the grain rarely allow smooth milling of the fine lines. See bottom picture.
